Ok President Obama, you've stated it very well with the exception of the unspoken disclaimer... you're leaving out the most precious vulnerable life. Which needs protection.
The unborn.
You forgot to include the murder of babies in their mother's womb.
February 1997 - National Prayer Breakfast in Washington attended by the President and the First Lady. "What is taking place in America," she said, "is a war against the child. And if we accept that the mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another."
I wonder how the Clintons responded to her statement?
Blessings,
Noreen
I LOVE this video and to think it was based on his own words! The hypocrisy is so bad. The evil is so strong (and getting stronger.)
ReplyDeleteAnd as the world watches, we become more secularized. A nation founded on strong Christian values should be defending the unborn. Not legalizing the killing of unborn babies.
DeleteNoreen,
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment on Kari's blog and yes, it is discouraging when no one seems to want to hear the pro-life message. I am truly inspired by the work you do in this area. I pray for you and your mission every day. And Kari too. She is working through her pro-life novel. Me? You made me think about what I can do to spread this message too. I have come to the conclusion that my apostolate is grief writing and support, which is so intimately tied up with the pro-life message when babies are involved. Thank you for always encouraging me through sharing my stories. Let's not get discouraged but keep working. No one may seem interested but we need to keep plodding away. God will give success to our efforts in His time.
God bless, with many prayers!
Thank you Sue for your support! It's much needed and appreciated!
DeleteI have no words. The video has blown me away. I want to hold every unborn baby and tell them SOMEONE cares about you; WE see your plight. "if we accept that the mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another." May Blessed Mother Teresa pray for us.
ReplyDeleteNoreen, thank you for sharing this powerful video. I have been thinking since the Connecticut tragedy that the good that may come out of that would be for people (especially our president) to become much more sensitive to the cause for the unborn. Unfortunately, the hypocrisy of the "if only one life can be saved" doesn't apply to unborn children. Mother Teresa's quote has run through my mind many times and I truly believe that the violence in this country, especially towards children, is a direct consequence of abortion (and, dare I say, contraception). God bless you, Noreen! : )
