40th Anniversary of Roe vs Wade

Something to celebrate?  I think not.  This puts a stain on our nation and our world.

The US Bishops call for "Nine Days of Prayer, Penance and Pilgrimage" from Jan 19th-27th.
The intention is for healing and conversion of our nation.

I am participating in Jill Stanek's Ask Them What They Mean By "Choice" Blog Day.

Who is celebrating?

NARAL Pro-Choice America is hosting their eighth annual Blog For Choice Day.

As of last night, they had approximately 60 pro-choice bloggers signed up to celebrate the
40th anniversary of Roe vs Wade.

I'm planning on joining in and politely asking these bloggers what is their definition of "choice".

Ask Them What They Mean By "Choice" Day 2013
Why am I doing this?  Because the unborn need help.  Their rights are being ignored.  Plus, this is the image in my mind when I think of how Jesus must feel about His precious babies.
I've enlarged it so you can look closely at what He's holding in the palm of His hand.

  1. I don't want them coming to my blog and disobeying the "rules". It happened to me once....over 500 comments, and none of them nice. I admire you for doing this though. I will post something, on my blog.

Our priest spoke about the 40 year significance in the bible, how 40 is often the "end" to something. Now, he said it won't end Tuesday, but we can do things to work towards the goal of it ending....kind of neat, the 40 year significance, and kind of scary. God will not take much more, I'm sure of it.

    1. I so get that. I've never had it happen to me yet, but I've interacted on this topic on another's blog. It was cordial though. Thanks for your support!

  2. So, I clicked on one of the blogs that wrote "for abortion", with her nice terminology. I so wanted to say something, but clearly, nothing I would say would change her mind. Is part of the goal to leave comments on their posts, linking to our posts? Like I said, I'm not so sure I want them visiting my blog...

    1. You never know though. Planting seeds is a good place to start!
