Rosary Workout Gift

Wow... I experienced many emotions today when I opened up my email and saw a message from Peggy Bowes who created the Rosary Workout.  A beautiful way to feed the body and the soul at the same time.  Praying the rosary while exercising.  A brilliant concept and I was informed that my blogging friend Sue, had picked ME for her receive this gift... I am grateful, joyful and humbled... and excited too!  I will learn alot from this experience.

Thank you Sue!  You are so kind to pick me... I have wanted to get The Rosary Workout ever since I saw Peggy Bowes on EWTN.

I highly recommend Sue's blog -  She is a talented writer who can sweep you away in her postings.  God has gifted her with this ability that I so admire and wish I had a quarter of her talent!  You should check her out.

As I explore this wonderful new workout, I will keep everyone posted on my progress!  Thank you to Peggy Bowes for creating a workout that honors Jesus through Mary!!

  1. Noreen, I don't know what to say. So many kind words that I don't really deserve. But thank you! The thanks should really go to Peggy Bowes for writing her book and for her generosity. I wanted to share the book and I am glad you are excited about receiving a copy. I look forward to hearing about your workout and Rosary progress. I hope I have some success of my own to report too!

Thank you for being such an encouraging reader of my blog. I always enjoy and appreciate your comments.

And thank you for your blog. You always give me something to think about. I especially love reading about Our Blessed Mother Mary. I know you had misgivings about writing posts about her at first. But what graces you must be receiving! God bless

  2. Hi Noreen!
I'm visiting you from NOBH and I was excited to see you link up another post! Congrats on your giveaway win! I have never heard of the Rosary workout before I read your post here! It sounds like a wonderful way to pray the rosary! I have a small 1 decade ring that I have held before while jogging and praying. I will have to check out Sue's blog and the Rosary Workout!

  3. Hi and thanks for stopping by from NOBH. Very neat you won! I'm a new follower now! :)

  4. Thanks for visiting my blog again and for leaving a message. That was so sweet of you. :D We're very happy about Ziggy's arrival. Congratulations on your win. Enjoy it!

  5. Congrats on winning:) Thanks for linking up to NOBH this month I love reading your posts:)

  6. I'd be really interested in how this Rosary workout works! Is it a walking workout?

Thanks for commenting Noreen. jedi (Nicholas) is actually pretty sure he is going to quit Boy Scouts now that he's made it to his goal, crossing over, earning his Arrow of Light. They want these boys to camp a lot. Without their parents. I just think they are too young and we really want to protect him from well, you know any chances of bad things that could happen.

He is a home boy. He likes to be home and just is not much of an outdoorsman....he's more of a reader.

Ask your son to pray about it, maybe he won't want to go on after crossing over and maybe he will. After he (our son) prayed about it, it seemed to be easier for him to decide he didn't want to go on anyway.

    (does that help?)

  7. Thanks Jamie for your comments about the concerns of Boy Scouts. I share the same concerns about letting a 11 year old go camping with boys ranging in age from 11-18 without parents. I think he can learn many great skills as a boy scout but I worry about his safety.

My son is similar to yours. He's enjoyed scouting because he has been with his friends since he was a Tiger Scout. I'm not sure how much of it is for the love of scouting... I'm guessing it's more social for him.

Thanks for your advice about him praying on this decision. We will too but he's still innocent and young to understand our parental concerns.
