After learning of the approved Marian apparition site in Wisconsin, I did a google search and found a list of Marian Apparitions from the year 1347 until present. It's a long list and I've never heard of the majority them. I did find the one listed at the Queen of Heaven Cemetary in Hillside, IL. However, it indicates that it has a local bishop approval letter but not yet approved by the church. Most of them have not been approved by the church. So what does that mean? Are they real or not?
Personally, I believe it's possible and if the messages are similar to the approved ones, and if it brings people to pray and turn to Jesus, it's a good thing.

I am learning so much from your posts and Tracy about the catholic faith. I am Lutheran so I don't know much about the saints and the whole process it is great to learn new things and I will be looking this up today. Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree Noreen that even if some apparitions have not been officially approved by the Church, they are still possible if they increase one's faith. Thanks for this post and congrats on putting buttons on your blog! :)
