Pro Life Song

Father Francis Maple is using his God given talents to help the most vulnerable of our society.  He is singing to save the unborn.  Beware, this song brought me to tears!  Please consider spreading this Youtube video and posting it on your blogs.  I'm convinced we can save more babies this way!

My friend from across the pond first introduced me to Father Maple.  Vic from Time for Reflections is a gifted published writer whose humorous style leaves you wanting for more!!  He also has a soft spot for the unborn.  God Bless him!

Here is Father Maple's hauntingly beautiful song called Cry From the Heart:

Here are the lyrics:
Mommy keep me safe, mommy keep me warm
Handle me with care, mommy help me to form.

I am ten weeks old, and I know the time will come
when you will give birth to me.

The gift you gave me are a pair of bright blue eyes
So some day I will see you smile and love me.

I've already got my arms and a little podgy nose,
And at the end of my feet I've got five little toes.

I look forward to my life, ice cream and slimy snails,
teddy bears and little fairy tales.

Going for walks in the park
Running home before it's dark.
And being tucked into bed with a kiss.

Where are we going today?
Am I in a boat or bus?

Why are we lying down?
Being drawn on four wheels?

And we go through the door
and there's people dressed in green.
Everything seems so strange and so clean.

Mommy if they hurt you just let out a scream
and I know someone will come to help you and me.

Mommy what's going on I am starting to cry
Come quickly they are forcing me to die.

They are killing me mommy, they are pulling me apart
My arms and my legs and now they're at my heart.

And I won't see the sky, or the grass or the trees,
and I won't see the moon, or feel the breeze.

I love you mommy dear, you know I really do
But I only wish you could have loved me too!

This pro-life son written by Father Francis Maple has saved at least 20 babies.  Their mothers were considering abortion but changed their minds after hearing this son.

Jesus, save and protect the unborn!

  1. Wow! We need more songs with that message! It hits to the core. Thanks for sharing it, Noreen. God Bless.

  2. Thank you so much Noreen for posting this song here. I have written to Father Francis to let him know what you have done and I'm sure he'll pray for you. As I do right now.

Let me tell you a little about Father Francis.

He's a Franciscan monk/priest who has worked very hard over the years to raise money for charity. By singing in shopping centres and malls he has raised over a £1m for charity. He also writes books (devotionals, recipes, jokes, etc ...) and knits scarves which are sold at his concerts. All for charity. He contributes articles for newspapers and Catholic magazines in England.

I have digitised and uploaded several of his songs on You Tube. Please search for Father Francis Maple to hear them.

Thank you again, and I pray that your readers and followers would also consider posting this song and lyrics on their Blogs. If it saves one more baby then it would be worth while. And Jesus would smile on you and your readers.

    God bless.

  3. Noreen, I was here earlier, and couldn't comment. something is wrong with my blogger. a white screen comes up when I try to comment, but it's working now! yay. This song is beautiful. thankyou for sharing, and thanks for your comments, and prayers for my mom. God bless you.

  4. Jennifer~ I agree. That message speaks right to the heart about the baby's dependency on their mothers.

Vic~ I will search for more of Fr. Francis' songs. I did contact via email last night and heard back already. He seems like a wonderful dedicated priest. God bless him in his ministry!

Gardenia~ happy you're able to post comments now. It is so frustrating when blogger interferes with communicating! Will continue to pray for your mom's recovery.

  5. Noreen - I left some thoughts about the heart paper chain for you on my blog under your comment! Thanks for the comment and linking me back to your site... this is great and we have a lot in common. This is a powerful post too, thanks.

  6. I'm so pleased that Father Francis has contacted you already. He is usually away from his Parish in Chester as he travels the country leading Missions in various churches. He has contributed to the Community of Catholic Bloggers. Here's one of his posts:

    God bless.

  7. Melissa~ I would encourage you to repost Fr. Francis' pro-life song on your blog too. It would be fantastic if it went viral.

    Vic~ that's in the U.K., right?

  8. Hi Noreen,

Sorry, I should have made myself clear. Yes, it is Chester in England. For many years Fr Francis was stationed at Pantasaph in Wales. A beautiful monastry in the middle of nowhere. I visited there years ago. Then he moved to Chester. He travels throughout the UK to give his Missions which usually last a week followed by a concert where he sings for charity.

    God bless.
