I found a few more great books for Lent and Easter that can be found at a local library
or within the library network.
I've seen so many great books for children on other blogs
but can only find a portion of them in the library.
I type up the list and send home with my students so they have faith book choices during Lent.
I don't like to recommend a book and then they'd have to buy it.
So it must be found in the library system.
I also heard of this one below. I just checked it out so will be previewing it before it makes my parent letter. The cover page would definitely grab the attention of my students!
Want to check out the content though :)
I posted other good Lenten books HERE.
I've linked up this post at Jennifer's What Are You Doing This Lent Linkup.
Happy Lenten Reading,
Noreen
You sure a soldier for Christ!!! What a beautiful job you do with your CCD class. Such an important and significant job in this world!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Valerie for your kind words. I had wished when my son was younger and in CCD, that his teachers would have recommended books that promote the Gospel message.
DeleteThank you Noreen.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you always.
Thank you Victor!
DeleteHi Noreen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the book ideas! I think I've purchased every children's book on the shelves at a small Catholic book/gift shop not too far from me and I'm always looking for new ideas.
I just wish there were more of these types of books in the local libraries!
DeleteNoreen,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing more book recommendations. I love how I can buy books so easily over the Internet. I'd never be able to buy Lenten and Easter books locally... unless of course, I'm looking for one about the Easter Bunny!
I know, right? Easter bunny books galore and less of the true meaning of Easter.
