I saw both of these on Facebook recently and thought they were perfect to share here!
I have no idea where they originated but I agree with them completely!

I was also very excited to receive in the mail this book from Chris at Campfires and Cleats. She was giving away two Papal books for her blogoversary and I was the lucky recipient of this one. My son has already begun reading it and I plan to read it after he's done. Thank you Chris!
It's the first book of the Adventures with Sister Philomena: Special Agent for the Pope. The back cover says "the children learn about St. Peter, explore the Vatican Gardens, follow a mischievous white cat, make friends with a Swiss Guard, discover the grandeur of St. Peter's Basilica, and fall upon the mystery of Peter's tomb and relics. Sounds unique and interesting.
Blessings,
Noreen
This is so beautiful, Noreen! Something to ponder on. The book looks interesting, too. Something else to look into - thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGod bless:-)
Thank you for visiting Vicky! I agree. I do think the messages of each pope is beautiful indeed.
DeleteLove, Love, LOVE the pictures. Amen!
ReplyDeleteThat book looks great. I'm always looking for books worth reading and this looks like one of those. Thanks, Noreen! : )
I do too Stephanie! I just wish these books could be found in the library. The first one was published in 2006 so you'd think there would be enough time for the secular library to catch up :)
DeleteNoreen,
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the popes has such a beautiful message. I saw another image on FB which disturbed me. You might have seen it. Pope Benedict sits on his papal throne in his magnificent vestments. Pope Francis sits on a simple chair in simple vestments. The comments went something like this... NOW there is hope for the Church. It seemed such a criticism of our beloved Pope Benedict, as if it was time he was replaced. The photo you have posted shows that each Pope brings his own gifts to the Church. We should be thankful and love them all.
God bless!
I don't like the thought of the one you saw too. I tried googling it but didn't find it. I guess the Holy Spirit wants me to focus on the beauty of our popes :)
DeleteBeautiful Noreen!! I love it!! Iwill share the picture of the Popes too!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!!
Hi Xhonane, aren't they both a great message? Perfect for this time of year?
DeleteLove that tri-fold of the Papas...I'm off FB for Lent so I have a feeling I've missed a lot of things! My 3rd grade son is reading that book and loving it right now! (I bought him the sequel for his Easter basket:) Hope your son enjoys it. Have a blessed and beautiful Easter, Noreen!
ReplyDeleteGood for you to be off of FB for Lent Tiffany. I'm only on it briefly. It would have been more difficult to be off of blogger for me :) Have a Blessed Easter too!
DeleteHi Noreen! Wishing you a Blessed Holy Thursday! I've seen both pictures on facebook as well and love them!!! You should ask your son to do a book review when he has finished reading...I would love to hear his perspective!!!!
ReplyDeletePerhaps I will and then make sure to post it here but on Amazon as well. It's nice to have a mystery story set in Rome.
DeleteLove the pictures and messages!! This is the first time I've seen this and I am so glad you posted them! I especially love the message "Now go do it."
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I agree. "Now go do it" is the perfect message of this day and age!
DeleteBest wishes for a Peaceful and Blessed Easter to you and your family, Noreen.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
