Messages of Our Popes, Lost in Peter's Tomb

I saw both of these on Facebook recently and thought they were perfect to share here!
I have no idea where they originated but I agree with them completely!

I was also very excited to receive in the mail this book from Chris at Campfires and Cleats.  She was giving away two Papal books for her blogoversary and I was the lucky recipient of this one.  My son has already begun reading it and I plan to read it after he's done.  Thank you Chris!

Lost in Peter's Tomb: Adventures with Sister Philomena, Special Agent to the Pope

It's the first book of the Adventures with Sister Philomena: Special Agent for the Pope.  The back cover says "the children learn about St. Peter, explore the Vatican Gardens, follow a mischievous white cat, make friends with a Swiss Guard, discover the grandeur of St. Peter's Basilica, and fall upon the mystery of Peter's tomb and relics.  Sounds unique and interesting.

Blessings,
Noreen

    1. I do too Stephanie! I just wish these books could be found in the library. The first one was published in 2006 so you'd think there would be enough time for the secular library to catch up :)

  3. Noreen,

The photo of the popes has such a beautiful message. I saw another image on FB which disturbed me. You might have seen it. Pope Benedict sits on his papal throne in his magnificent vestments. Pope Francis sits on a simple chair in simple vestments. The comments went something like this... NOW there is hope for the Church. It seemed such a criticism of our beloved Pope Benedict, as if it was time he was replaced. The photo you have posted shows that each Pope brings his own gifts to the Church. We should be thankful and love them all.

    God bless!

    1. I don't like the thought of the one you saw too. I tried googling it but didn't find it. I guess the Holy Spirit wants me to focus on the beauty of our popes :)

    1. Perhaps I will and then make sure to post it here but on Amazon as well. It's nice to have a mystery story set in Rome.
