There is a...Great post, and great reminder Noreen!<br /><br />There is an elderly gentleman in my church, and when he receives the Eucharist, he does so with such reverence that it moves me every time I see him. This past Sunday I had my First H...This touched me. This past Sunday I had my First Holy Communion. I'm 39 years old! I was baptized as a baby, but never went further. My husband and I have 4 children, and we had been waiting for my annulment for more than 4 years, so I could finally take part in the Eucharist. I had to work hard for it, I had to struggle through years to stay on this path. Last Sunday was one of the biggest events in my life. I agree with you, that most take it for granted. I will never take it for granted. How wonderful for you to experience those sweet people's joy in having you serve them.
