Rosary Across America

I linked up with RAnn at Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival.  Please come over and meet other wonderfully talented Catholic Bloggers!  RAnn brings together a diverse group of men and women who blog about their faith.

On February 11, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes, Relevant Radio started a 54 Day Novena that justice and wisdom will prevail regarding the HHS mandate, for true freedom of religion, for the protection of freedom of conscience and for an end to abortion.

They are calling for all Catholics to pray the rosary each morning at 7:30am with EWTN or later in the day.

They will rebroadcast this program at 8pm and 10:30pm.  If the times do not work into your schedule, pray the rosary at your convenience for this very special intention.

Here is a statement from Cardinal-designate Timothy Dolan of New York:

"Never before has the federal government forced individuals and organizations to go out into the marketplace and buy a product that violates their conscience.  This shouldn't happen in a land where free exercise of religion ranks first in the Bill of Rights."

  4. That sounds wonderful! I have neglected saying the Rosary for awhile now and I truly feel it missing from my life. Part of my Lenten plan was to say the Rosary every day. This sounds like a perfect opportunity to do so for an important cause! Thanks for sharing!

  5. Our twinnie girls, aged 16, go to our local Catholic High school. Our eldest is very involved in the Pro-life ministry at the high school and she went with her group to the March in January. While she was marching along she quietly began to say the rosary, soon she noticed that many of her friends where saying it with her, and then other people on the March were reciting it. She said it took all she had to not break down in tears!

  6. Thanks so much for this information. I pray the Rosary every day. The Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph in this matter.
